This is a story of letting go, and learning to feel again.
Matt is the star basketball player of the Junior Varsity high school team. He’s madly in love with the girl next door Tabby, who is also his best friend. The problem is that she’s dating someone else, and hardly seems to notice him anymore.
The only place where Matt feels normal and part of something is in Mr. Ellis’s English class where they write poems about socks and discuss “the most beautiful fart scenes."
When tragedy strikes, Matt’s life begins to fall to apart. Will he be able to get his game back on?
I would recommend this book to anyone over 13 who likes a story with a little bit of romance.
